As a Sourcing & Inventory Control Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and maintaining inventory levels and stock status, ensuring alignment for current production and parts suppling needs. You will lead the sourcing of components with an emphasis on optimizing supply chain performance, supporting lean manufacturing principles, and upholding high-quality standards. Additionally, you will apply lean practices in developing and refining workflow processes for both new and existing product lines.
REQUIREMENTS
Key Responsibilities:
Organize, evaluate, and maintain vendor relationships to support current and future production.
Manage parts stock levels and maintain inventory levels
Source new components that meet cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
Implement and support lean manufacturing practices across supply chain and production operations.
Develop and refine workflow processes to enhance efficiency and consistency.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, purchasing, and production teams.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, cost, and delivery performance.
Required Qualifications:
Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain functions.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain management
Proven experience in supply chain management or procurement within a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Credentials:
Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or higher).
Project Management certification (e.g., PMP or equivalent).
Experience with water well drill rigs
Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
