The primary purpose of this position is to continue selling capital equipment to current customers while developing new sales leads.
REQUIREMENTS
Essential Duties:
Visit customers on the established call rotation to keep abreast of customer's upcoming capital equipment requirements and promote additional sales of Company products in adherence with established goals.
Identify and market product lines to new clients within established goals.
Prepare and present proposals and quotes to customers for equipment sales.
Maintain accurate documentation of sales calls and progress and submit weekly sales report.
Communicate continually with appropriate departments regarding upcoming capital equipment needs and product deliveries.
Perform other related duties and assignments as required.
Education/Certification Requirements:
Requires Some College/Associate's Degree or equivalency
Work Experience and Skill Requirements:
Minimum of one (1) year capital sales equipment experience.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

The incumbent must be able to independently travel to customer locations, including overnight travel. Extensive driving requires the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.

Incumbent will be required to use a computer with keyboard, telephone or handheld mobile device, and office machinery as needed.
Incumbent must be able to read, see, hear, and speak.

The work location includes office, production, shop, and customer settings, which include oil and gas drilling sites, open-pit mining operations, customer garages, and heavy equipment work areas.
The incumbent works in outside weather conditions. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to wet, hot, and/or humid conditions.
Incumbent will be exposed to dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, and loud noises.
Incumbent will be expected to work on several projects/assignments simultaneously and may need to work outside of core operating hours as requested.
