DTH, CASING ADVANCE, AND CLUSTER DRILL SPECIALIST

Keystone Drill Services is hiring a DTH, Casing Advance (Keystone Kobra), and Cluster Drill (Keystone HP Cluster Drill) Specialist in our Somerset, Pennsylvania office. We are looking for a dedicated, career-oriented individual who is experienced with or willing to learn large-diameter rock drilling products and techniques.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to instruct customers on the job site and to assist in bit, DTH, and Cluster Drill repair and maintenance.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Assist in the DTH and Cluster Drill Center

  • Teach proper cluster drill drilling techniques

  • Ability to assemble and disassemble a cluster drill

  • Ability to change bits

  • Ability to diagnose technical issues

  • Ability to work on and diagnose air compressor issues

  • Ability to demonstrate proper air compressor safety and operation

  •  Ability to demonstrate a track air compressor

  • Ability to work with drill operators effectively

  • Ability to travel

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalency.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

  • The candidate must be experienced with or willing to learn large-diameter rock drilling products and drilling techniques.

  • The work location includes a warehouse setting and outdoor settings.  The incumbent will be expected to work on several projects/assignments simultaneously and may need to work outside of core operating hours as requested.  Outdoor work will expose the incumbent to weather and climate conditions.
