Location: Norwich, OH

 

Keystone Drill Services is seeking a Field Service Technician in our Norwich, Ohio location. This position will be responsible for repairing customer equipment in the field and performing repairs in the shop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Repair components in the field and shop. 

• Perform field repair work to rigs, compressors, DTH accessories.

• Drive a Company truck to field worksites to perform repairs.

• Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on the Company's trucks and equipment.

• Perform repair work on air compressors and boosters.  (This duty specific to certain branches).

• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

 

EDUCATION/CERTFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalency.​

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of two (2) years medium to heavy-duty mechanic experience, including preventive maintenance, computerized diagnostics, electrical trouble-shooting, and engine repair.

• Working knowledge of CAT ET, and ability to read electric and/or hydraulic schematics.

• Incumbent must be able to pass a DOT physical, possess a valid driver's license, and meet the age requirements and driver's history parameters specified by Company insurance in order to drive Company vehicles.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Incumbent must be able to operate tools and equipment including hand tools, drills, welding equipment, cranes, air compressors, hoists, and forklifts throughout the shift.

• Must be able to independently travel to off-site work locations as required.  Position includes periodic overnight travel at off-site locations.

• The incumbent is required to walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl.  While on drill rigs, incumbent is required to work in small spaces.

• The employee must frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and push and pull up to 100 pounds.

• Incumbent will be required to use a computer with keyboard, telephone or handheld mobile device, and office machinery as needed.  Incumbent must be able to read, see, hear, and speak
