Keystone Drill Services is searching for a shop assistant in Somerset, Pennsylvania. This position will require candidates to assist service mechanics and perform facility maintenance. We are searching for an individual with a high school diploma and experience performing equipment maintenance who knows OSHA and other safety requirements. Keystone Drill Services is seeking hard-working individuals interested in expanding their maintenance knowledge and skill set to join the Keystone Drill Services team.

 

JOB SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to assist service mechanics where needed and perform facility maintenance. 

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Clean parts for service area equipment.  

• Facility maintenance.

• Keeping work areas clean and free of safety hazards.

• Help service technicians disassemble/assemble machinery and equipment as needed.

• Perform other related duties and assignments as required.

 

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalency.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Experience and ability to perform equipment maintenance as well as general building maintenance.  

• Experience and ability to operate small hand tools and forklifts.

• Knowledge of OSHA and safety requirements and practices.
