Keystone Drill Services is hiring a parts associate in their Somerset, Pennsylvania office. This position will require candidates to support the company’s parts and inventory process. Incumbents for this position must have a highschool diploma, and a willingness to learn SAP entry. We are searching for an organized and productive individual to join the Keystone Drill Services team.


The primary purpose of this position is to support the company’s parts and inventory processes.



  • Receive, verify, and unload all shipments.

  • Monitor inventory levels and demand to ensure proper inventory levels and organize and maintain proper record keeping for inventory, including recording transfers/moves of product or shipment errors.

  • Receive customer calls and prepare shipments to the appropriate customer.

  • Organize and perform regular housekeeping and straightening of the warehouse and outside storage yard. Monitor work area for safe conditions and activities, and address and resolve any safety-related issues.

  • Place parts purchase orders with vendors and specify any applicable requirements, including, but not limited to, pricing and lead times. 

  • Perform billing duties, including; generating sales orders and, forward to finance; creating invoices.

  • Record all inventory transactions in SAP correctly, accurately, and timely manner. (This duty is specific to certain branches).

  • Perform other related duties and assignments as required, including, but not limited to, delivering products to customers.



  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalency.


  • Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse work experience.

  • Basic knowledge of warehouse operations.

  • Ability to learn SAP entry.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

  • Incumbents must be able to pass a DOT physical, possess a valid driver's license, and meet the age requirements and driver's history parameters specified by company insurance to drive company vehicles.

  • Operate scale, banding-wrap, hand tools, and other small equipment used for packaging.

  • The employee must frequently lift, carry, push or pull up to 75 pounds. 

  • The incumbent will be required to use a computer with a keyboard, telephone or handheld mobile device, and office machinery as needed.  Incumbents must be able to read, see, hear, and speak.

  • The work location includes a warehouse setting and outdoor settings.  The incumbent will be expected to work on several projects/assignments simultaneously and may need to work outside of core operating hours as requested.  Outdoor work will expose incumbent to weather and climate conditions.
